How to Escape the Summer Heat at Walt Disney World

As a Wisconsin girl, I am most comfortable with temperatures between 73 and 82 degrees. That's it! One degree cooler and I freeze - one degree warmer and I am a pool of sweat. Therefore, you will never catch me visiting my most favorite place in the world anytime between June and August. I just can't even. However, I know many of you must travel during the summer season due to family schedules. If I had to, I would also travel during this time as I would rather visit when it is hot than not at all!

Disney After Hours - Is It Worth the Price?

My family was lucky enough to attend the Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom event. The are not currently any other event dates released however, this is not the first time an event like this took place at my favorite Theme Park. Last spring, this exclusive event was called 'Disney After Dark'. In its debut year, the ticket prices were a steep $149 each. This year along with the new name also came a lower price tag of $119 or $89 for Annual Passholders. Even with the reduced price - it is still a big chunk of change unless you are Scrooge McDuck. So the question is - is it worth it?

Many years ago a sweet co-worker of mine gifted my family with our very own Elf on the Shelf. It was a hard time for us and I was so touched by the gift. Rudy quickly became a loved family tradition and has brought lots of laughter to our holiday seasons during the years.

Disney Wine & Dine 10K - I DID IT!

It finally arrived. The moment you all have been waiting for and the event I have been training for since August. This past weekend I spent an AMAZING time with many of my dearest friends - and I also ran 6.21371 miles through Epcot. Because, why not?
