Walt Disney World on a Budget

Let’s start off this cold February Friday morning with a little quiz.
How much do you think you would pay for a 6-night Walt Disney World Resort vacation for a family of four; including a personal Walt Disney World planning specialist, meals, tickets to all four Theme Parks, transportation to and from Orlando International Airport, and daily transportation to and from the Theme Parks?

$15,000?
$10,000?
$5,000?
Well guess what – ALL these answers are too high! Surprised?
Walt Disney World Resort offers four Value Resorts with larger-than-life Disney theming, multiple swimming pools and pool activities, resort activities such as Movies Under the Stars, and wonderful Disney customer service. Best of all, by staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you are close to all the magic - saving you valuable vacation time!

I can show you the world!
One of the many great things about vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort is the amazing food! Want a great tip on how you can eat to your heart’s content without draining your kids’ college funds? You can purchase a Disney Dining Plan if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, which helps greatly reduce out-of-pocket expenses while you are on vacation. There are many different types of dining plans to choose from, depending on your appetite and budget. You receive a set number of credits for snacks, Quick Service, and Table Service meals. The type and amount of credits depends on the plan you select. My favorite reason to purchase the Dining Plan – you can choose from any entrée on the menu at nearly every restaurant inside the Theme Parks, hotels, and Disney Springs! You won’t be looking at the steak and lobster entrée and select the chicken because you don’t want to spend the money – you can get what your tummy wants, not what your wallet tells you to eat. Now that’s what I call vacation!

Vader Waffles - The Dark Side of breakfast
Not on the dining plan or looking to add a bit more food? If you are flying into Disney World and are relying on Disney transportation, you can't run to the grocery store to pick up a few things. You can, however, order from an online grocery delivery service such as Garden Grocer. They will deliver your items right to your Disney World Resort hotel! We order fruit, juice, milk, adult beverages, breakfast items such as toaster pastries, and snacks. Just eating breakfast in our room before heading out for a day in the Theme Parks saves us quite a chunk of change.

A 1-day adult ticket to Magic Kingdom Park with tax, at the time of this writing, is $111.83. I know –intimidating! The good news is… the longer you stay, the less you pay! A 5-day adult ticket to get you into any Wat Disney World Resort Theme Park breaks down to a mere $67.10 per day. This is a phenomenal value!

Who is your personal Walt Disney World planning specialist? It’s me, your personal travel agent.  And guess what? I AM FREE! I have many more money-saving tips and tricks for my clients. Contact me for your free Walt Disney World Resort vacation quote!

Having fun with Chip and Dale!

  2. We love Disney - but I think my kids have moved on to other things for the time being. We had the opportunity to go this month and all my kids said they didn't want to go. I was so shocked and didn't want to go by myself, so maybe in a couple of years.

    1. Disneyland is more expensive than Disney World. Have you priced out a Disney World Resort vacation?

  5. I think it can be a little creepy how much the characters look and sound like the Disney characters. Snow White is at the top of that list. Great memories at the happiest place on earth.
