My Walt Disney World Bucket List

Just riding with some friends.
Ah, the bucket list. Everyone has that list of things you just have to experience within your lifetime.

Faster than fast, quicker than quick. I am Lightning.
Being the Disney Nerd that I am, of course I have a Disney Bucket List!

I was the best extra EVER in the history of extras at the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular.
I am excited to share my very own Disney Bucket List with you. The items I have been lucky enough to experience and cross off my list are in green.
  • Stay at a Deluxe Resort
  • Stay at a Deluxe Resort - concierge level
  • Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
  • Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show
  • La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil
  • Richard Petty Driving Experience (this experience is now closed)
  • Attend a Dessert Party
  • Club Villain
  • Stay at Yacht Club or Beach Club and play at Stormalong Bay
  • Eat The Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream
  • Be chosen as Family of the Day to open Magic Kingdom
  • Ride Mad Tea Party with Alice
  • Wild Africa Trek
  • Be an extra at Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
  • Stay a night in the Cinderella Castle Suite
  • Eat at the Chef's Table at Victoria and Albert's
  • Dine at California Grill
  • Get a massage at Senses inside the Grand Floridian Resort
  • Have a steak at LeCellier
My youngest enjoying some OJ at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - concierge level.
Some of these items are more impossible than others to experience. But I can tell you from experience that I KNOW sometimes, dreams really do come true! As Uncle Walt says, 'It's sorta fun to do the impossible'.

Dreams come true!

  1. I think mine is to visit every Disney Park there is. We still have yet to do Disneyland Cali. We've been doing Disney World all the time and there are so much more Disney parks to enjoy. I'm sure you'll get your bucket list finished one day. I'm rooting for you.

  2. The dessert party at the MK is AWESOME. We did it last year when we went and it was worth every penny!

  5. I want to go back to Disney so bad! There's things I want to do as an adult that I didn't want to do as a kid haha. Love your to-do list! Great post xx Michele

  6. I don't have a bucket list per se, but I do want to go back with grandchildren (if I ever get any!) and go with my husband, as he loves all the Disney properties.

    1. I completely understand! My boys are only 9 and 12 and I already think about bringing grands. I can't think of a better place to spoil them rotten!

  7. Funny to see this as we just went to disneyland a week ago! I don't have a bucket list, but being married to a disney employee makes things interesting for sure!

  8. We are taking my nephew and niece to Disney for the first time this fall. On my bucket list is their reaction to the characters and all the amazing rides.

  9. You know what's sad? I haven't been do WDW for 13 yrs. My boys have now grown up, and they haven't been able to go back because I haven't been able to afford it. It's been so hard for me. I hope to get them down there before my son graduates next year. My only item on the bucket list is to get there. I'm so glad you had such amazing experiences already, and more to come.

  14. We went to disney world this year. We were the first in our family to do so... none of my sisters/brothers/parents/aunts etc. Being from Ireland, it was too far away and too expensive. We only stayed a week and didn't get around to everything. My dream would be to stay two weeks, I loved it so much. As did my kids.

  16. I'd love to stay at a deluxe resort at Disney. I think we will try to do that when we go. We have to have the real experience at least one time.

  17. I'm kinda curious about the Cinderella Suite - it seems like it would be the ultimate. I loved staying at the Disney Resorts. It's so nice to be steps away from the park.

  20. What a great bucket list!!!! I'm happy to say I have done most of these, but it's also not that fair because I did live in Orlando for 8 years ;-) Disney was literally in my backyard lol...

  21. I think at one point or another, everyone has something Disney on their bucket list. I know several adults that are more determined than a child to fill theirs :)
