No Empty Plates this Holiday Season – WITH Your Help!

Sometimes life isn't fair. There are days, weeks, months, even years where sometimes life hands you lemons. And not even the kind you can make lemonade with. Nope, sometimes life gives you rotten, worm infested lemons. And sometimes despite how hard you try to get out of that situation, you simply can't get by without a little help.

I know because I have been there. And a lot of people I know have been there. No parent should ever have to worry about how they are going to get food on the plates of their children. Especially during the holiday season.

OK, enough with the doom and gloom. HERE IS THE EXCITING PART! You - yes YOU can help. You heard me. YOU RIGHT THERE! Here is what you need to do. Follow these instructions VERY CAREFULLY. And do it right now because you KNOW you are going to forget in an hour. OK? OK!

STEP 1: Head right over to the No Empty Plates campaign donation page. Select the donation amount you wish to give! Donating just $20 will give a family of 4 a holiday meal. THAT IS IT! Just $20!

STEP 2: Take a picture of yourself with the amount of plates you filled. Get creative!

STEP 3: OK now this is an important one. Don't let me down, OK? Post your picture of your beautiful self with your plates on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram - is there one I don't know about yet? Post it there too. Challenge your family and friends to be as generous as you were! (You rock, BTW!) Be sure to include the link, https://givingtuesday.razoo.com/us/story/Noemptyplates - and, of course, the hashtag #Noemptyplates. Nothing is official these days unless it includes a hashtag. By sharing your picture your donation could be doubled, maybe even tripled, maybe even MORE!

Our friends at Impact Community have a goal set of $40,000 and only a month to get it in. Let's give them a hand! Even if you can't donate - sharing this post can make a world of difference!

How many plates did you fill? Comment below!
