How to Escape the Summer Heat at Walt Disney World

As a Wisconsin girl, I am most comfortable with temperatures between 73 and 82 degrees. That's it! One degree cooler and I freeze - one degree warmer and I am a pool of sweat. Therefore, you will never catch me visiting my most favorite place in the world anytime between June and August. I just can't even. However, I know many of you must travel during the summer season due to family schedules. If I had to, I would also travel during this time as I would rather visit when it is hot than not at all!

Disney After Hours - Is It Worth It?

My family was lucky enough to attend the Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom event. There are not currently any other event dates released, however, this is not the first time an event like this took place at my favorite Theme Park. Last spring, this exclusive event was called 'Disney After Dark'. In its debut year, the ticket prices were a steep $149 each. This year along with the new name also came a lower price tag of $119 or $89 for Annual Passholders. Even with the reduced price - it is still a big chunk of change unless you are Scrooge McDuck. So the question is - is it worth it?
